Motivated to keep my chin up

Motivation Monday

It's Monday...we're all happy and chipper to be back at work....right?  (hearing crickets in the background)  Well despite the fact it's the start of a work week, I'm going to start it off with some motivation.  I have to say...I was super super pumped with how well participation was last week.  I was like "hells yes!"  You guys rock, and I hope you were all able to stick to your motivational goals last week.  I know I did...I managed to work out every day but once.  The 10K didn't happen, but that's because it was pouring rain out, and walking 6.2 miles in the cold and rain didn't see like a great plan.

So how do you participate?  Just write a post about what's motivating you this week...it can be anything, like cleaning the fridge or folding that mountain of laundry or doing Taebo every day this week or making sure you don't hit any parked cars this week (no one else has this goal?  Just me?  Really?  oh, okay...)  And comment on this post with your post link, and I'll link you up!  It's as easy as pie!

So this week, I'm not going to lie.  I need some hardcore motivation.  It's going to be a tough one because this Thursday I have a not-so-fun doctor's appointment.  Correct that:  a really important and not-so-fun doctor's appointment.  It's going to be hard to keep positive this week, and I really need to do that so I don't psych myself out before Thursday.  So that's my motivation - stay positive.  Keep going and if I need help staying positive, to keep myself busy.  That shouldn't be a problem because I do have a ton of things to accomplish at work this week.  But keeping my chin up.  I can do it.

So what about all of you?  Need some motivation this week?  I can't wait to read your posts!

  2. I most definitely make it a goal to not hit any parked cars, or not park in a way that other cars will hit me, which has happened. Good luck with your appointment.

  3. Definitely sending good vibes your way for this Thursday! Sadly, I couldn't run my 8 miles this weekend because of the rain as well. Running that long on a treadmill just is not my idea of fun! I'm still trying to determine my motivation for this week, but hope I can link up. Happy Monday!

  6. Thinking super positive and fabulous thoughts for you!!! You are amazing, Nain-- don't forget that for a second!

Although, not gonna like, kinda disliking you right now because I'm hardcore struggling with consistently working out. Kidding.

  9. Once I figure out what I'm motivated to do, I'll write it up. I'm sorry I didn't get it done last week! But I will this time around ;-)
